Grace and peace to you.
Today is the day that we set aside to give thanks. Today we pause from our busy lives, from politics, and from everything that seeks to divide us, as Americans, to simply come together to be thankful.
Some of us have lost loved ones this past year. Because of the pandemic, some of us may not be able to be with loved ones this Thanksgiving. Maybe we watch the news and become depressed. There are many things that rob us of our hope and joy. Let me encourage you to fix your eyes on the One who is the Author of hope. Because of who God is, we can always be thankful.
Virginia and I are thankful for our wonderful church family. We are blessed to be able to serve you as pastor, and friend. We pray that we will continue to strive to live in unity, serving our Lord, and sharing the love of God, the grace of our Lord Jesus, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit with each other and to those within our communities.
We love and appreciate you. Have a blessed Thanksgiving.
God bless.
